started in 1884 in Thorofare, New Jersey by Harry A. DeHart Sr.
It began
with the manufacturing of wagons for the farmers of South
Jersey and the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. This continued
until the advent of steel and aluminum covered trailers.
Six (6) generations later The DeHart Name and it's
heritage is still in the business of the transportation
industry throughout the Southeast and the United States.
However,
in 1967, R. Thomas DeHart Jr. (Tom) upon graduating from the
University of Memphis (in Memphis, TN), went into the Transportation
Industry. This Transportation background and experience has evolved
into a transportation logistics (3PL, Fulfillment Marketing,
Trucks, Labor, and Information Systems) company called Financial
Logistics.
At
this time there are four (4) generations working in the Transportation
Industry both in New Jersey and Tennessee.
